      <image:caption>Bring one leg toward the body. Use your hands or a strap or belt if holding below your knee is not possible. Pull one leg up toward your chest until you feel gentle tension in the hip and back. Hold the leg for 1½ to 2 minutes. Repeat with the second leg. Do not force beyond a gentle, steady stretch. Stay relaxed; continue to focus on your breathing as you hold.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Once you have softened the body and gently stretched the hips and low back region, you are ready to set and balance the pelvis. Bend your knees and place your feet about hip distance apart. Place a softened basketball (men) or volleyball (women) between your knees. Lie back again, relax, then squeeze your knees into the ball at about 50% of your strength. Stop, wait 2-3 seconds, then repeat the squeeze at 100% of your strength. You may feel a shift or hear a grind or pop, or experience nothing. Any of these responses is normal. Do this a minimum of once per day.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>After preparing the body for healing, slowly begin to tuck your chin, pushing it down toward you chest. Go only as far as you comfortably can, feeling a pull along the back of your neck and/or upper shoulders. Stop there, hold the position, and focus back on your breath. Hold this position for up to one minute or to your tolerance.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>After preparing the body and doing the chin tuck, again tuck your chin and begin to gently roll your head to one side, keeping the chin tucked and slight pressure with the back of the head to the floor. Roll your head to the side as far as is comfortable, feeling a pull into the opened neck and/or shoulder. Stop, allow a few breaths in this position, then gently roll the head to the other side. Repeat this process up to three times per side.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Lie with feet on the floor, knees bent, and arms out in a T position. Allow your legs to descend toward the floor. Feel how this pulls in your hips and back, letting your legs rest on the floor or on the ball or other prop so that the pull is efficient but comfortable. Once set in position and with the body feeling supported and relaxed, stay here for two to five minutes. Bring the legs back to center and repeat on the other side.</image:caption>
